The Palmy Stallions Cricket Club has created history in the Manawatu district cricket scene by claiming the MCA P3 One Day Championship for the 2023–24 season. This remarkable victory is even more special as it comes in just our second season since joining the Manawatu Cricket Association in 2022.
Founded by a passionate group of Malayali migrants in Palmerston North, the Palmy Stallions have risen rapidly, blending community spirit with sporting excellence. In only two years, the club has gone from newcomers to champions — a proud moment for the players, supporters, and wider community.
